Even with all of my complaining, I must admit, I rather have this Trek than none at all. We need more good science fiction Tv shows, Movies etc.

But I really would like to know what has changed from season 1 and 2. This season 3 cannot have been written by the same people. I just cannot see it.

My argument is that while this is still in production, another, better ST show won't be made.

I'd be content if they got rid of the current writers and got decent ones to continue SNW for the next 2 seasons but I don't think thats going to happen, better to rip the band-aid off and start fresh imo.

Hmm, I believe I remember a time when multiple Star Trek shows aired along with multiple versions of SG1.

So it has been done in the past. Maybe not successfully, but still done.

Another IS being made, Star Trek: Starfleet Academy. IDK know if this will be better than the current. Guess we will see in 2026.

Looks like its intended for younger audiences. Maybe not a good sign if the characters are in the mold of Wesley Crusher.

That band-aid is fusing with our skin a little while longer :)

Didn't the same happen with Star Trek: Discovery?
I enjoyed Season 1 and (to the greater part) Season 2 of that show as well. Then it went downhill fast.

I agree, both shows were better in their respective early seasons. Was hoping they would go the way that Star Trek TNG did which started off poorly, and got better as it went on. I would probably make the case that DS9 and Voyager also got better with time.
