The show stars Rob Lowe as beloved TV lawyer Dean Sanderson (aka The Grinder). When his long-running hit series comes to an end, he finds himself at a crossroads in life and decides to move back to his small hometown thinking he has the experience to take over his family's law firm.
I think this show is fun. Sure it is silly and unrealistic but also just plain fun. Sadly the ratings are bad. This is just one of two shows i have been interested in even watching this fall, most just feels like meh. But this was fun and fresh, i have not seen a similar show before.

Did they seriously use the "I know that he doesn't know that I know that he knows that I know that he know" -line already in episode 3?

I predict a cancellation. I just can't see it going far.
So aside from a few smiles, it doesn't hit the mark. At least for me.
But what if it isn't? :P
Have to agree tho.

It could have been interesting but they push too hard some sort of comedy that people thought was funny in the sixties (long pause, audience whooing, tatatataaaaa...).

I don't like Rob Lowe's character in this show. Is he supposed to be retarded? Nobody is that dumb... (or the rest of the law firm and family (except the poor brother) are too...)
If I were his brother, I'd have him committed to a mental hospital...
After two eps this show is off my watching list, cause this is just too stupid.

So Rob Lowe and Dan Savage (from The Wonder Years) actually have great screen chemistry as on-screen brothers. The pilot was a little cheesy but I did find myself laughing out loud more than a couple of times. I hope it matures into its own.
