The story follows Ryou, a middle school girl who lives by herself. She has a knack for cooking and makes friendships with everyone through her food. The cooking manga is "full of detailed cuisine art to whet the appetite and slightly erotic meal scenes." The "koufuku" in the title is a wordplay on two Japanese homonyms - one which means "happiness," and another that means "appetite."
Soul Eater Not!
Soul Eater Not! is a side-story to the main series, focusing on a freshman halberd named Harudori Tsugumi, who befriends two other meisters, Tatane Meme and Anya Hepburn. All three take part in the NOT (Normally Overcome Target) class at DWMA and learn to control their powers in order to overcome their difficulties to have a normal life, as opposed to the battle-oriented EAT (Especially Advanced Talent) class taken by Maka, Soul, and their companions.
The story revolves around Haruka Nanase, a boy who has always loved to be immersed in water, and to swim in it. Before graduating from elementary school, he participated in a swimming tournament along with his fellow swimming club members, Makoto Tachibana, Nagisa Hazuki, and Rin Matsuoka. After achieving victory, each of the boys went their separate ways.
Time passed, and in the middle of their uneventful high school lives Rin appears and challenges Haruka to a match, showing Haruka his overwhelming power. Not wanting it to end like this, Haruka, gathers together Makoto and Nagisa once again and brings a new member named Rei Ryugazaki to create the Iwatobi High School Swimming Club in order to defeat Rin.
Kyoukai no Kanata
Akihito Kanbara is a high school sophomore in the literature club who believes himself to be a "Meganest", and although he appears to be human, he is actually half Yōmu, which makes him invulnerable to wounds, due to the fact that he can heal so quickly, and also immortal. One day, Akihito meets freshman Mirai Kuriyama when it appears as if she is about to attempt suicide by jumping off of the school rooftop. Mirai is isolated because of her ability to manipulate blood, which is considered heresy even among other members of the underworld, so she is shunned. Soon after Akihito saves Mirai, disturbing events begin to arise.
Chrome Shelled Regios
The world was infected by "Pollutant" years ago - a world cracked open and generally screwed up. This Pollutant spawns nasty "Pollutant Beasts", but it's also resulted in people gaining special powers. The towns that now litter the world are protected by alchemists and are mobile - these are the "Regios" of the title.
The story follows a guy named Lei-Fon Alseif who starts at a new school following the disappearance of his childhood friend and gets recruited into the special 17th Platoon in order to combat Pollutant Beasts.
Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom
Mafia is rife in America where assassinations are a regular occurrence on the streets. Inferno, a mysterious company, is behind most of these dealings through the use of their near-invincible human weapon, "Phantom."
One day, a Japanese tourist accidentally witnesses Phantom's latest murder. Desperate to escape, the tourist hides in a secluded building. However, Phantom, revealed to be a young woman named Ein, and the leader of Inferno "Scythe Master" captures the tourist and brainwashes him.
Given the name "Zwei," this once peaceful tourist is now a puppet of Inferno with no memories. Drawn into a world of lies, deceit, and violence, Zwei must fight to survive, hopefully to one day regain his memories and escape from this world where he is constantly on the brink of death.
Kobato is a sweet, perky, cute yet naïve girl who has a contract: to go to a certain place, she must fill a mysterious bottle with people's "healed hearts" to do so. However, the restriction is that she must finish before the four seasons end. As Kobato attempts to fulfill her mission, she is accompanied by Ioryogi, a spirit in the form of a dog plushie. Because Ioryogi is responsible for a punishment that has been applied to him and his friends from the spiritual world, he must guide Kobato and ensure that she succeeds her mission, so that he and his friends might return to their true forms.
At the Shinigami Weaponry Vocational School, humans known as Meisters study. Each Meister have their own partner, which is a weapon capable of taking on a human form. The story follows three of these Meisters and their Weapon.
Rito Yūki is a normal high school boy who has a crush on a girl by the name of Haruna Sairenji but he can't confess his feelings to her. One day when he is in his bath-tub, a girl suddenly appears, she goes by the name Lala and is from another planet where she is royalty. Lala has run away because she doesn't want to marry some man that her father has chosen for her and to stay on earth she wants to marry Rito. Lala's father later decides that if Rito is able to protect Lala from her other fiance's they can get married, but if not, he will destroy earth. From that day on Rito's life became quite lively.
Spice and Wolf
Craft Lawrence, a 25 year old man who travels from town to town selling and trading all kind of things as a living in the Middle Ages. When he stops at one of his favourite towns he suddenly finds a 250-year-old pagan wolf girl, in human form, she looks like she is 15, but has a tail and wolf ears. Horo, which is the girls name, manages to convince Lawrence to take her with him on his travels as she wants to go home to the north.
This is an anime series loosely based on the popular American comic series. Masane Amaha, 'mother' of six-year-old Rihoko Amaha, is on the run from the Child Welfare Division with her daughter in search of a static life of simplicity and peace.
Ah! My Buddha
Hatanaka Ikko, a 16 year old boy, is a first year trainee at the Saienji Buddhist Temple. He was sent there by his parents to be trained by his grandmother, the Saienji Priestess. At the temple he finds himself surrounded by beautiful female priestesses-in-training. Upon seeing a girl naked, Ikko has the ability to turn into a super-monk, performing massive exorcisms for the good of the temple.
Witch Hunter Robin
To most of Society, Witches are nothing more than myths and legends of a bygone era. However, there are a few people who possess the Witch genome; a gene that may give the person special, supernatural abilities. For them, a secret organization named Solomon (STN) was formed to track and hunt them down before they became a threat to the rest of Society. The story follows the members of the STN-J, the Japanese branch of Solomon. Unlike other branches of the STN, the STN-J captures Witches alive. Armed with a substance called Orbo, an invention developed by Administrator Zaizen, the Hunters subdue the Witches of Japan and send them to a facility called the Factory. It was during one of these Hunts that a member of the team was killed. With morale falling, Solomon Headquarters sends a new Hunter from Italy to join the STN-J as a replacement for the fallen Hunter; a young girl named Robin Sena. Robin is only 15 years old, but she's a capable craft user.
In a crime-ridden future Japan, Kyohei Tachibana is a peaceful student at a culinary school, dreaming of going to France for advanced study as a patissier (pastry chef). To afford the trip, he accepts a part-time job as private cook to a strange group of women - Sei, Meg, Jo and Amy. But, like all heroes, there is a darker side to her fate, and as always there is a constant struggle by those around her to break the chains of their own destinies and make their own lives.
I My Me! Strawberry Eggs
Hibiki Amawa has just started to pursue his future as a Gym Teacher. He discovers that where he is staying requires payment for a room in advance, so he must get a job as soon as possible. The nearest school has an opening but unfortunately only hires female teachers, claiming men couldnt love the students like women do. Hibiki soon finds himself crossdressing as a woman, and being reliabe for the safety of all the female students. At the same time, a young girl named Fuko has discovered she has feelings for Hibiki, and doesnt understand, since Hibiki is a "woman."
