Hiroshi Shirokuma

After a popular online game, Yggdrasil, is shut down, Momonga, the protagonist, decides not to log out. He transforms into a skeleton and sets out to take over the new world the game has become. As non-player characters begin to feel emotion, Momonga, an ordinary young man with no parents, friends, or place in society, strives to become the most powerful wizard in the new world.

In the online fantasy RPG Elder Tales, players are trapped after an expansion package is installed. To survive, grad student Shiroe forms a guild called Log Horizon with other players. Log Horizon is a story of survival as Shiroe and his guild navigate a world full of monsters. They must work together to find a way out of the game and back to reality.

The story follows Lucy, a young wizard who wants to join the Fairy Tail Guild. She soon encounters Natsu, a Fairy Tail member and practitioner of the ancient Dragon Slayer Magic, as well as his partner Happy, a magical talking cat. After accepting Natsu's offer of membership into Fairy Tail, Lucy and Natsu team up to undertake various missions.
