The Secrets She Keeps
In The Secret She Keeps, Meghan doesn't know Agatha, but Agatha knows Meghan. Two women from vastly different backgrounds have one thing in common: explosive secrets that could destroy everything they hold dear.
Two women have a chance encounter in a supermarket, in an affluent Sydney suburb. They are the same age, both heavily pregnant and due at the same time. Meghan (Jessica De Gouw) is a glamorous influencer on the rise, with an ambitious television sports reporter husband Jack (Michael Dorman), while Agatha (Laura Carmichael) works in the supermarket as a shelf stacker.
Hungry Ghosts is a new four-part Australian drama series that takes elements of the Japanese and Korean "supernatural thriller" genre to explore the lives of three generations of Vietnamese Australian families dealing with the aftermath of war. It's about lost loves, buried secrets, and how unresolved trauma can be handed down through generations until a young woman, planning for the future, connects with her past as a way forward.
Bloom is a mystery drama about the scarcity of time and the choices we make. Beyond the impulses of youth and the regrets of age lies a secret.
One year after a devastating flood kills five locals in an idyllic country town, a mysterious new plant appears with the power to restore their youth. It's a gift powerful beyond wildest imaginings. A phenomenon so formidable that attempting to harness its potency means re-evaluating everything that's important.
It's a miracle some will kill to keep secret.
Set in a familiar future, the Stan Original series The Commons is a gripping character-driven relationship drama and a story about motherhood as the ultimate act of faith in humanity.
The six-episode series is set in the near future where a group of non-humans battle for survival in a world where humans feel increasingly inferior to them and want to silence, exploit and kill them. The central story revolves around two estranged indigenous brothers who are forced together to fight for their own survival. Otherworldly dreamtime creatures also emerge into this real world dystopian landscape.
The series follows two complete strangers, Lola and Chelsea, who intervene in a fatal carjacking while waiting at a suburban bus stop, and are subsequently thrust into a chase from authorities across Australia with a vehicle filled with cash. The strangers must rely solely on each other while they are on the run.
The series is inspired by events during the eighteenth century when Britain established a penal colony in Australia to which convicts were sent.
Love Child (Aus)
Set in 1969 in Kings Cross, Love Child will follow characters caught in the crossfire as they live, work and play at the very centre of the cultural and sexual revolution. Their lives intersect between the Haven, a maternity hospital and home for unwed mothers, and the wild streets of Darlinghurst beyond the hospital walls.
